Nashik division

Nashik division is an administrative region in Maharashtra with five districts—Nashik, Nandurbar, Jalgaon, Dhule, and Ahmednagar—covering the northern part of the state. The administrative structure is divided into 54 tehsils organized within 28 subdivisions, each overseen by local officers.

This region has been settled since ancient times along the Tapti River valley and forms the northern part of Maharashtra with roots in the traditional Khandesh area. Its development grew from its geographical position and the natural resources the land offered.
