Panja Sharif stands as a revered Shia Islamic shrine located in the Kashmiri Gate area of Delhi, featuring traditional Islamic architecture with a central burial chamber and prayer facilities for devotees.

The dargah holds the distinction of being Delhi's oldest Karbala and houses the tomb of Mirza Muhammad Kamil Dehlavi, a respected 18th-century Islamic scholar and spiritual guide in Indian Shia circles.

During Muharram, particularly on Ashura and Arbaeen, hundreds of Shia Muslims gather here for mourning processions, majalis ceremonies, and elegiac recitations commemorating the martyrdom of Imam Husayn at Karbala.

Visitors can reach the shrine via Delhi Metro to Kashmiri Gate station, with the complex open throughout the year providing prayer halls, ablution facilities, and spaces for religious education and community gatherings.

The shrine's name derives from 'Panja', representing the symbolic hand that signifies divine protection in Islamic tradition, and it serves as the focal point for Tazieh dramatic performances reenacting the Battle of Karbala.
