Janki van

Janki Van is a forest park featuring multiple tree species arranged in themed woodland sections with names from ancient stories. The site contains specialized zones dedicated to medicinal herbs and plants with spiritual significance.

The forest area was established in 2015 as a forestry project and opened during a major regional forest celebration. This creation was part of a wider initiative to expand and manage woodland resources in the area.

The interpretation center displays local tribal knowledge and regional Ayurvedic practices through named forest sections that visitors can explore. These zones connect plant wisdom with spiritual meanings that become apparent as you walk through the park.

The park is accessible from the main road and has an information center to help orient visitors around the grounds. The best time to visit is early morning or late afternoon when temperatures are more comfortable.

The site functions as a living tree library with numerous species brought together in a contained area. Multiple water bodies at its edges create a wetland environment that draws birds and other wildlife.
