Hjálparfoss

Hjálparfoss is a two-stepped waterfall in Southern Iceland where the rivers Thjorsa and Fossa merge, creating two parallel streams that drop into a single plunge pool surrounded by dark basalt rocks. The water flows from a gentle approach before descending sharply into the basin below.
