The Jeju 4.3 Peace Park extends across 36 hectares of land, featuring memorial tablets, a service altar, and educational facilities dedicated to historical remembrance.
Following the Jeju uprising of 1948-1949, President Kim Dae-jung initiated the park's development in 1999, leading to its official opening in March 2008.
The memorial complex includes the Peace Memorial Hall, Education Center, and Forest of Peace, where annual ceremonies honor those affected by historical events.
The park opens daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, except for the first and third Monday of each month, with public transportation access from Jeju City.
The memorial tablets display contains 14,363 confirmed names of individuals who lost their lives during the Jeju April 3rd events.
