Aqua Planet Jeju

Aqua Planet Jeju is a public aquarium in Seongsan with a massive main tank holding thousands of liters of water, displaying marine life from local and worldwide sources. The complex includes several exhibition areas where visitors can explore different ecosystems, from coral reefs to large predators.

The facility opened in 2012 and was South Korea's first specialized center dedicated to treating and rehabilitating injured or sick marine animals. This innovation allowed the establishment to become not just an exhibition space but also an important care facility for marine wildlife.
