Archipel

Archipel is a water playground within Efteling that spreads across several zones with play structures and water features for children of all ages. The layout lets kids move freely between different interactive water games and splash areas designed for varying skill levels.

The playground opened in 2022 on the site of a former maze attraction that had operated there for many years. This replacement brought a shift toward water-based play in that part of the park.

The maritime theme of Archipel connects with Dutch naval traditions, incorporating elements that reflect the Netherlands' strong connection to seafaring.

Bring swimwear and towels for a full water experience, as the grounds are best enjoyed during warmer months. The facility includes shallow areas for toddlers alongside deeper zones for older children.

Certain water jets release spray in patterns timed to music, letting children play along with the water in rhythm. These coordinated effects turn the playground into an interactive sensory experience.
