Radiografisch Bestuurbare Bootjes, Radio-controlled boat attraction in Efteling, Netherlands
Twenty-four colorful plastic model boats operated by visitors from the water's edge provided entertainment on a pond decorated with lighthouses and miniature buildings.
The attraction opened in June 1980 at Vonderplas and relocated near restaurant De Lickebaerd in 1982 due to construction of the Piraña water ride.
Each boat received an individual name, with technical staff maintaining the vessels while wearing maritime uniforms to enhance the naval experience.
Visitors controlled the boats using remote controllers after inserting coins, allowing them to navigate through obstacles and miniature structures in the water.
The attraction featured rubber-coated vessels to prevent damage during collisions, with a four-meter lighthouse overseeing the nautical activities.
