Shakarparian, National park near Zero Point Interchange, Islamabad, Pakistan

The park spans 350 acres of green spaces at an elevation of 1,998 feet, offering views of the Margalla Hills and Islamabad skyline.

The land belonged to the Gakhar tribe before 1947, and President General Muhammad Ayyub Khan authorized its transformation into a park in 1960.

The Pakistan Monument Museum within the park exhibits national artifacts and historical items that document the country's independence and development.

The park operates from 8 AM to 7 PM daily without entrance fees, featuring jogging tracks, picnic areas, and multiple dining establishments.

The Star and Crescent Monument stands at the entrance, while the park grounds host the annual Pakistan Day Parade each March 23.
