Perm Urban Okrug

The Perm Urban Okrug contains eight districts including Dzerzhinsky, Industrialny, Kirovsky, Leninsky, Motovilikhinsky, Ordzhonikidzevsky, Sverdlovsky, and Novye Lyady.

The Stroganov family and Vasily Tatishchev established Perm Urban Okrug on May 4, 1723, marking the beginning of its development as a major administrative center.

The city received the Order of Lenin in 1971, recognizing its contributions to industrial development and regional administration in the European part of Russia.

With an elevation range between 90 to 171 meters, Perm Urban Okrug accommodates over one million residents across its 799 square kilometers territory.

Three settlements form the urban okrug: the main city of Perm and two rural communities, Adishchevo and Kazarma 30 km stations.
