Jebel Barkal Museum

The Jebel Barkal Museum is an archaeological museum in Karima that focuses on findings from the ancient region. It features three exhibition halls with artifacts, pottery, and royal statues from different historical periods.

The museum was founded in 1979 to preserve findings from the ancient Kingdom of Kush, including a royal statue from Egypt's Twenty-fifth Dynasty. This collection was assembled through archaeological excavations that document the region's rich history.
