Jebel Barkal Museum, Archaeological museum at Karima, Sudan.
The Jebel Barkal Museum contains three gallery rooms displaying artifacts and pottery items discovered during excavations in the surrounding archaeological area.
Established in 1979, the museum preserves findings from ancient Kush, including a royal statue from the Twenty-fifth Dynasty of Egypt unearthed by George Reisner.
The exhibition halls present stelae with Meroitic inscriptions dedicated to historical rulers Natakamani and Amanitore, reflecting regional traditions and governance.
Located at coordinates 18°31′58.2″N and 31°49′42.5″E, the museum provides educational resources about current archaeological research and Nubian history.
The museum stands near a 104-meter-tall sandstone outcrop that ancient Kushites and Egyptians considered sacred, marking the southern boundary of Egyptian territory.
