Akün Stage

Akün Stage is a theatre venue in the Kavaklıdere neighbourhood of Ankara, located within the Ankara State Theatre complex. The facility provides dedicated performance spaces designed to host staged theatrical productions of varying sizes.

The venue began operations in 1975, establishing a new performance space in central Ankara. An official inauguration ceremony took place in 2004, affirming its lasting role in the capital's theatre scene.

The stage hosts theatrical productions throughout the year, presenting Turkish plays alongside international works under state theatre direction. Audiences experience diverse storytelling and themes shaped by both local and visiting artists.
