Sun Moon Shenmu

Sun Moon Shenmu is an ancient tree standing near Sun Moon Lake with a broad trunk and massive branches that extend outward in multiple directions. The canopy spreads wide and full, creating a substantial sheltered space beneath its reach.

This ancient tree has stood for countless generations, witnessing the region's transformations over decades. It became a valued symbol of the area's natural heritage.

The tree is accessible by bus from Taichung Station with frequent services throughout the day to the Sun Moon Lake area. Early morning visits offer the most peaceful experience with fewer crowds.
