The Antioch Christian Church stands at 4805 NE Antioch Road as a one-story frame structure with clapboard siding and a front gable roof.
Built in 1859 by architect Ben Ricketts, the church was relocated to its current location in 1968 and received National Register designation in 1979.
The congregation maintains strong ties to local and international missions, with regular gatherings in homes throughout south Kansas City each Sunday morning.
The church property spans less than one acre and measures 33 feet in width and 51 feet in depth, offering childcare services during morning services.
Members participate in small groups called Accountability Partners while supporting global outreach initiatives, including recent missions to the Solomon Islands.
