Termez Archaeological Museum

The Archaeological Museum of Termez displays over 27,000 objects, including ancient weapons, coins, stamps, household items, and Buddhist sculptures from excavation sites.

The museum opened in 2002 to mark the 2500th anniversary of Termez, showcasing artifacts from the Greco-Bactrian and Kushan periods in Central Asia.

The museum exhibits include the prominent mural Princess of Tokharistan from Tavka Kurgan and scale models of archaeological sites like Kampyr Tepe and Khalchayan.

Located at 29 A, At-Termeziy Street, the museum operates daily from 9 AM to 6 PM and provides access to both permanent collections and Fayaz Tepe.

The collection features an ivory chess piece from Dalverzin Tepe, 800-year-old perfume bottles, and ancient wall paintings with preserved colors from 1500 years ago.
