Vallter 2000, Ski resort in Setcases, Spain.
Vallter 2000 is a ski resort in the Catalan Pyrenees with slopes designed for all skill levels, from gentle terrain for learners to more challenging descents. The terrain offers various routes across the mountainside for different preferences.
The resort was established in 1975 using the natural glacial landscape known as Morens-Ull de Ter. This opening introduced winter sports to the eastern Pyrenean region and helped develop the local community.
The resort organizes the Trofeu Marmota alpine skiing competition through the Camprodon Ski Club, gathering young athletes from the U10 and U12 categories.
The slopes are accessible via multiple ski lifts positioned across the mountain. Visitors will find rental services, instructors, cafes, and medical support on site for their comfort.
From the summit at about 2,535 meters (8,300 feet), skiers can see the Mediterranean Sea and the Bay of Roses on clear days. This rare view connects high alpine terrain with distant coastal scenery.
