The Palm Fountain

The Palm Fountain is a seawater fountain at The Pointe on Palm Jumeirah that features 3,000 LED lights and powerful water jets. These jets reach heights of 105 meters (344 feet) and create synchronized water patterns during performances.

The fountain opened on October 22, 2020, and received Guinness World Records recognition as the world's largest fountain. Its development marked a major addition to Dubai's waterfront attractions and engineering capabilities.

The fountain features performances set to compositions by Emirati artists, blending classical, Khaleeji, and electronic music styles. These performances showcase the musical diversity that defines Dubai's cultural landscape.

Visitors can watch multiple daily shows free of charge, with convenient parking and public transportation access at The Pointe. Arriving before sunset is recommended to enjoy the fountain as daylight fades and the lights become more visible.

The fountain operates using seawater rather than fresh water, which requires specialized technology to prevent corrosion and scaling. This unique system was specifically engineered by a Beijing-based water design company known for advanced fountain technology.
