Boya Pagoda, Octagonal pagoda at Peking University, China.

The Boya Pagoda rises 37 meters high with 13 stories, featuring a square base and a concrete structure with a spiral staircase inside.

Built in 1924 as a water tower, the pagoda was funded by James Porter and named after his nephew, philosophy professor Lucius Porter.

The pagoda walls display murals depicting Chinese mythology and history, representing the fusion between Eastern and Western architectural traditions.

Located in the eastern section of campus near Weiming Lake, the pagoda serves as a central landmark for student gatherings and photography.

The structure stands as the primary symbol of Peking University, appearing on the institution's official seal and promotional materials.
