Spire, Residential skyscraper in Belltown, Seattle, United States.
Spire is a 41-story glass tower with a triangular footprint rising 440 feet and housing 343 residences with retail spaces at ground level. A rooftop terrace sits atop the structure, providing outdoor space for occupants.
The project was initially proposed in 2006 as Icon Tower but was delayed through the economic downturn before receiving approval to proceed in 2018. Construction followed quickly, with the completed building opening in August 2021.
The building shapes the Belltown skyline with its distinctive profile and draws residents and visitors to the public spaces and ground level throughout the day. Its architecture reflects the modern character of the neighborhood and participates in Seattle's ongoing urban transformation.
Residents use an automated underground parking system accommodating around 266 vehicles with retrieval within three minutes. The neighborhood is well served by public transportation and the central location makes walking to shops and restaurants convenient.
The top two floors house the Spire Club, a private amenity featuring indoor and outdoor entertainment spaces with sweeping city views. This exclusive offering distinguishes the tower from typical residential high-rises and creates a specialized social venue for residents.
