Day 1, Office building in Denny Regrade, Seattle, US.
The 37-story Day 1 tower rises 159 meters into the Seattle skyline as part of the Amazon Headquarters Complex.
The building stands on land created during the massive Denny Hill regrade project, which removed millions of cubic yards of earth between 1898 and 1930.
Day 1 represents modern corporate architecture in Seattle, designed by NBBJ with emphasis on workplace efficiency and environmental considerations.
The structure opened in November 2016 and provides office space for thousands of employees in the technology sector.
This tower occupies land that was once 100 feet higher before the Denny Regrade transformed the entire neighborhood topography.
