Neskowin Beach

Neskowin Beach is a coastal stretch in Oregon with wide sandy areas and rock formations spread across several kilometers. The shore is backed by Cascade Head, a large headland that rises behind the sand.

The area was developed as a resort community in the early 1900s, which shaped it from a natural coastal landscape into a visited place. This early settlement established the foundation for what it became.

Local people gather clams along the shore and walk the sand for relaxation and exploration. The beach has become a quiet gathering place where visitors connect with the coast's natural rhythms.

The beach has several entry points and free parking that make it easy to visit year-round. Wear shoes because the rocks are sharp and the sand can get muddy at low tide.

At low tide, old tree stumps emerge from the sand, the remains of a forest from ancient times. These preserved trees are thousands of years old and tell a story about how coastlines change over time.
