Jungle Island is a zoological theme park located on an island near Miami that combines animal exhibits with recreational activities. The grounds feature various animal enclosures, bird and reptile displays, aerial obstacle courses, and water play areas spread across the landscaped terrain.
The park was originally founded in 1936 and operated under a different name for many decades. In 2003, it relocated to a new island location and was rebranded with its current name a few years later.
