The burial chamber contains four main sections: an antechamber, the central burial room, a treasury, and an annex filled with precious artifacts.
British archaeologist Howard Carter discovered the untouched tomb in 1922, revealing over 5000 objects from the reign of Pharaoh Tutankhamun.
The tomb walls display religious illustrations featuring Egyptian deities Ra, Osiris, and Anubis guiding the young pharaoh through the afterlife.
The tomb opens daily from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with visitors requiring a special ticket to access the burial chamber.
Flooding and accumulated debris preserved this tomb from ancient looters, making it the most complete royal burial site in the Valley.
