Skyplex

Skyplex is a planned building project in Orlando that includes a tower, multiple attractions, restaurants, and shops on a large site along International Drive. The development sits at a busy intersection and aims to bring together different forms of entertainment in one single structure.

Planning for this project began in 2012 under the guidance of an initial real estate company. Later, another firm took over the development and adapted the concept to changing conditions.

The complex represents a shift in Orlando's entertainment landscape by combining vertical architecture with family activities in a single integrated structure.

The site sits at the northeast corner of Sand Lake Road and International Drive and is easy to reach from the main traffic routes. Visitors should note that the project is not yet complete and access may vary depending on construction progress.

The original plans included a roller coaster running along the outside of the tower that would take riders to extreme heights. This idea made the project a talking point among theme park fans, even though construction has not yet been realized.
