The An-Najaf Stadium features a natural grass playing field measuring 105 by 68 meters, with grandstands accommodating up to 30,000 spectators.

The stadium opened its doors in 2018 after a seven-year construction period, with the Iraqi government investing 83.75 million dollars in its development.

The exterior design incorporates religious decorations and mosaics that reflect the architectural elements of the nearby Imam Ali mosque.

Two additional training grounds with capacities of 400 and 2,000 spectators complement the main stadium, providing facilities for regular practice sessions.

The stadium earned recognition as a finalist for the 2019 Prix Versailles, distinguishing itself among international sports facilities for its architectural merit.
