Parque Natural de Pucallpa

The Parque Natural de Pucallpa extends across multiple sectors, featuring exhibits of native animals, a regional museum, and recreational areas for families.

Established in 1991, the park initiated its mission to protect over 400 species of local flora and fauna, including monkeys, alligators, and endangered species.

The Regional Museum of Pucallpa maintains a collection of Amazonian wildlife specimens and fossil remains discovered in the Ucayali, Pachitea, Aguaytía, and Urubamba rivers.

The park operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with guided tours available in English and Spanish.

Visitors can observe numerous native tree species, including medicinal plants, wild shrubs, palm trees, and fruit trees throughout the botanical section of the park.
