This office tower was completed in the early 1990s as part of a major expansion of Century City as a financial and commercial hub. Its construction reflected the rapid growth of corporate offices in Los Angeles during that period.
The tower opened in 1990 as the AIG–SunAmerica Center and later took the address 1999 Avenue of the Stars. In late March 2009 all visible AIG logos were removed from the facade, a change passers-by could see. Its tenants include Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, UBS and the Consulate General of the United Arab Emirates.
The building is centrally located on Avenue of the Stars and easily accessible by public transit. Keep in mind this is a private office building where interior access is typically restricted to tenants and authorized visitors.
