Alto Fragua Indi-Wasi National Natural Park is a protected area in the Caquetá region featuring multiple forest ecosystems. The landscapes shift from misty cloud forests at higher elevations down to thick tropical rainforests in lower zones.

The park was designated as a protected area in 2002 to safeguard the natural resources and ecosystems of the Amazon region. This decision helped prevent forest loss and protect the land and its inhabitants.

The park was created to protect the traditions of the Inga people, descendants of Andean and Amazonian groups who share the Quechua-based Inga language and the ritual use of yajé, or ayahuasca. The area has long been a meeting place where Amazonian and Andean elders exchanged knowledge about nature and resource management.

The park's name, Indi-Wasi, comes from the Inga language and means "house of the sun." The Inga, descended from Peruvian and Ecuadorian Amazonian groups, the Mocoas of the lower Putumayo and Andaquí survivors, adopted a single Quechua-family language, Inga, over the last 300 years.
