Alto Fragua - Indi Wasi National Natural Park

The Alto Fragua Indi-Wasi National Natural Park extends across 760 square kilometers of diverse landscapes, from cloud forests to tropical rainforests.

The Colombian government established Alto Fragua Indi-Wasi as a national park in 2002 to preserve the natural resources of the Amazon region.

Indigenous Inga and Kamentsá communities maintain their traditional practices within the park boundaries while contributing to its conservation efforts.

Visitors can reach the park through Florencia city, which offers regular flight connections from major Colombian destinations.

The park spans elevations from 200 to 3,000 meters, creating distinct microclimates that support jaguars, Andean bears, and numerous bird species.
