Salto de Mortiño

Salto del Mortiño stands 200 meters tall, creating a powerful cascade of water that falls into a deep canyon within the Colombian Massif mountain range.

The waterfall area has been part of indigenous territories for generations, with archaeological sites from ancient civilizations surrounding the natural formation in Huila department.

Local communities maintain connections to the waterfall through traditional stories passed down through generations, incorporating natural elements into their heritage.

Visitors can reach the waterfall by taking a bus from Neiva to Isnos for 60,000 COP, followed by local transportation to the observation platforms.

The Crystal Bridge and Viewpoint offers visitors an elevated perspective of the waterfall, complemented by the presence of parakeets flying near the water stream.
