The Terminal de Transportes de Florencia is a transportation hub with multiple bus platforms, waiting areas, and food vendors throughout. The facility organizes all services in one location to help passengers move through smoothly.

The terminal gained legal status on 28 December 1981 as a limited commercial company, and in March 1983 became a mixed-economy joint-stock company with public and private capital. After nine years of planning and construction, the building opened on 7 May 1990 under President Virgilio Barco, on the site of the old Coliseo de Ferias, facing the Circunvalar and Centenario roundabout.

The terminal's commercial area includes souvenir shops and general retail alongside cafeterias and restaurants, serving travellers heading to and from Caquetá's municipalities. Around 15 national, regional and local transport companies operate from the counters here, and the building stands on the site of the old Coliseo de Ferias de Florencia, opposite the roundabout where Avenidas Circunvalar (Roberto Claros) and Centenario meet.

The facility is easy to navigate since all buses and services are organized in clear areas. It helps to arrive a bit early so you can find your bus and move through any lines without rushing.
