TriceraTop Spin, Dinosaur-themed spinning ride in DinoLand U.S.A., United States.
TriceraTop Spin is a spinning ride in DinoLand U.S.A. where guests control dinosaur-shaped vehicles through hand levers and controls. The vehicles complete circular rotations while riders can simultaneously adjust the height and tilt of their vehicle throughout the brief journey.
This attraction opened as part of Chester and Hester's Dino-rama area and became one of the interactive rides in the dinosaur-themed land. A closure scheduled for January 2025 will end its operation as the area undergoes renovation and transformation.
The ride's name comes from the three-horned dinosaur, and the attraction captures the playful spirit of the land it occupies. Visitors move through a colorful environment filled with dinosaur-themed details and props that suggest a fun excavation site.
The ride lasts about 90 seconds and accommodates four riders per triceratops vehicle, with seating position determining which controls each passenger operates. Guests should familiarize themselves with the hand controls before departure to fully enjoy all movement options available.
The front and back rows of passengers operate completely different control systems, with front passengers adjusting height and back passengers controlling tilt movements. This shared control creates a cooperative experience where all four riders together shape how their dinosaur behaves.
