Wahkeena Falls

Wahkeena Falls is a waterfall in Oregon's Columbia River Gorge that descends through multiple tiers over volcanic rock layers. The cascade creates several distinct drops that visitors can see from different points along the hiking path.

The waterfall became accessible to visitors in the early 1900s when the Historic Columbia River Highway was constructed through the gorge. This road project brought tourism to the area and made natural features along the gorge easy to visit.
