Osmany Museum, Military history museum in Sylhet, Bangladesh.
The Osmany Museum displays photographs, documents, and military memorabilia from General Muhammad Ataul Gani Osmani's service during the Bangladesh Liberation War.
The museum opened on March 4, 1987, following a foundation stone ceremony in February 1985, with President H M Ershad conducting the inauguration.
The exhibits present the contributions of General Osmani, who commanded the Mukti Bahini forces and established the Bangladesh Armed Forces after independence.
Located 12 kilometers from Sylhet Osmani International Airport and 3 kilometers from Sylhet Railway Station, the museum offers guided tours for group visits.
The museum preserves personal belongings and military artifacts of General Osmani, who started his career in 1939 with the British Indian Army.
