Chongqing World Financial Center

The Chongqing World Financial Center is a contemporary office tower with 79 above-ground floors and 6 basement levels in downtown Chongqing. The structure reaches 338.9 meters high and houses office spaces, restaurants, and retail areas distributed across its many floors.

Construction began in August 2010 and was completed in 2014, marking a significant milestone in Chongqing's development as a modern financial center. The project was part of a wave of tall building development that reshaped the city during the 2010s.

The tower reflects Chongqing's transformation into a major financial hub through its contemporary design. Its sleek form and glass facade are characteristic of modern commercial buildings rising across major Chinese cities.

The building is easily accessible from the city center and features public lobby areas for visitors in the lower floors. Traffic flows are clearly marked, and the interior layout is designed for easy navigation.

The building held the title of Chongqing's tallest structure briefly before being surpassed in 2017 by the International Trade and Commerce Center. This rapid turnover reveals how quickly the city's skyline continues to evolve.
