Zhongzhou Holdings Financial Center, Postmodern skyscraper in Nanshan District, China
The Zhongzhou Holdings Financial Center rises 303 meters into the sky with 61 floors of reinforced concrete and glass construction in Shenzhen's business district.
The building project, initiated in 2008 under architect Adrian Smith's guidance, marked a significant phase in Shenzhen's rapid urban development through its completion in 2014.
The financial center demonstrates Chinese architectural innovation by incorporating a large atrium within its upper floors, housing a 340-room Marriott hotel.
The structure contains 45 elevators servicing all levels and provides parking space for 1,221 vehicles near Houhai Station on the Shenzhen Metro line.
Beijing Institute of Architectural Design collaborated with international firms to create specialized facades that distinguish this building in the Nanshan skyline.
