Shenzhen International Garden and Flower Expo Park, Garden and flower park in Futian District, China
Shenzhen International Garden and Flower Expo Park is a large green space in Futian with gardens, flower displays, lakes, and varied landscapes spread across three main sections. The grounds include carefully designed pathways, seating areas, and planted beds that showcase different garden types and plant species.
The park was established in 2004 as the venue for the Fifth China International Garden and Flower Exposition. It gained national recognition in 2008 as an important public green space.
The park displays gardens from 42 cities across 11 countries, including traditional Chinese landscapes like Shanghai Shikumen architecture and Japanese courtyards. These replicas allow visitors to explore international garden styles without leaving the region.
The park is open daily from early morning until late evening and offers free access to all areas. Metro Line 1 runs to Qiaocheng East Station, from where the entrances are reachable on foot.
A nine-story Blessing Pagode rises within the park and stands as one of the tallest stone pagoda structures in China. From its top, visitors can see Shenzhen Bay on clear days.
