Nangzhik Gompa, Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Ngawa Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, China.
The monastery stands at an elevation of 3,200 meters, featuring traditional Tibetan architectural elements and housing a community of 800 to 1000 monks.
Initially established in 1108 as Gyelten Püntsok Monastery by Nyimadzin, the complex moved to its current location in 1754 and continues to function as a religious center.
The monastery maintains strong connections with Tibetan Buddhist practices through regular ceremonies, scholarly discussions, and educational programs for both monks and visitors.
Visitors can reach the monastery by taking a bus to Ngawa Town from Chengdu, followed by a 4-kilometer walk north from the town center.
The monastery functions as a branch of Nogi at Changla in Songpan County and published its comprehensive historical documentation in 1994.
