Located on Mount Jiuhua, Huacheng Temple features traditional Chinese architecture with a large central hall containing Buddhist scriptures and sacred artifacts.
Founded in 401 CE by Indian monk Huaidu during the Jin dynasty, the temple received its current name in 781 CE and underwent major renovations during Ming dynasty.
