Kah Kee Park

Kah Kee Park is a memorial site in Jimei featuring a four-story pagoda museum, white pavilions, and stone columns distributed across its grounds. The buildings and pathways create a structured layout that guides visitors through different zones, each with its own purpose.

The site was established to honor an entrepreneur who lived from 1874 to 1961 and transformed the region through massive investment in education. His efforts converted a small fishing village into a center with numerous schools and colleges.

The park displays relief sculptures showing important events and life-sized statues connected to its founder's legacy. Visitors can observe how the space was designed to communicate educational values and the lasting impact of one person's vision.

The park is accessible by public bus and sits outside Xiamen's city center. Visitors should wear comfortable shoes since the grounds are expansive and some paths are exposed to the elements.

The tomb sits on an island and is marked by a tall stone column adorned with specialized tiles bearing patterns. These tiles display repeating motifs visible throughout the park, creating visual continuity across the space.
