Wuhan Zhuankou Yangtze River Bridge, Cable-stayed road bridge in Caidian District, Wuhan, China
The Wuhan Zhuankou Yangtze River Bridge is a cable-stayed structure that spans 5,296 meters across the river with a width of 46 meters. It uses twin towers and steel box girders to support the central span of 760 meters above the water.
Construction began in 2014 and finished in 2017, marking an important step in expanding Wuhan's road network. Its completion strengthened transportation connections across the western part of the city.
The bridge connects neighborhoods on both sides of the river and makes it easier for communities in western Wuhan to exchange goods and visit one another. It has become part of daily life for residents and commuters who use it regularly.
