The production studios are located in the basement, while the upper floors hold office spaces visible through transparent walls.
The building was constructed between 1986 and 1991 following designs by architects Christoph and Brigitte Parade, at a time when media infrastructure in the region was expanding. Its completion coincided with the early development of the Medienhafen as a destination for media and communications companies.
The curved glass front on the east side is shaped to recall an old radio receiver, connecting the building's appearance to the history of broadcasting. This reference is visible from the street and gives the structure a readable identity within the Medienhafen area.
