Vasant Valley School is a co-educational school in Vasant Kunj spread across 8 acres with separate buildings for younger and older students. The campus includes classrooms, laboratories, sports facilities for cricket, football, tennis and badminton, a library, an amphitheater called Vasant Manch, and specialized spaces like the Design Centre for art classes.
The school was founded in June 1990 by Aroon Purie and Rekha Purie with a vision to create an environment where children could learn well and develop as individuals. Classes began in July that year starting from grade 4, with each year adding a new grade level until the first batch completed their studies in May 1999.
The school celebrates festivals and cultural days throughout the year, with students performing in traditional costumes through music, dance, and drama. These gatherings bring the community together and help students share and understand different traditions.
The school is located in Vasant Kunj in a quiet area easily accessible from different parts of Delhi, providing a safe environment for children. The campus is well-organized and maintained, making it easy for visitors to navigate different areas and explore the various facilities available.
The school is organized into four houses called Blue, Green, Red, and Yellow in which students participate in competitions throughout the year in various sports and activities. This house system promotes teamwork and healthy competition among students from different grades.
