Kusanagi Station is a passenger railway station above the tracks in Shimizu-ku, Shizuoka, operating on the Shizuoka-Shimizu Line. The station features two platforms on each side of the tracks, ticket machines, and automated gates accepting contactless payment cards such as LuLuCa, PiTaPa, TOICA, and ICOCA.
Kusanagi Station opened in 1908 and has served the area for over 100 years. As Shizuoka City grew, the station expanded its role and now serves approximately 4000 daily passengers, maintaining its importance in local transportation.
