Saiwa Swamp National Park

The Saiwa Swamp National Park extends across 3 square kilometers of wetland ecosystem with papyrus reeds and tropical vegetation near Kitale.

The Kenya Wildlife Service established this protected area in 1974 to preserve the natural habitat of the Sitatunga antelope population.
