Sangni Fort, Military fort in Kallar Syedan Tehsil, Pakistan.

The fort sits on a hilltop overlooking the Sui Cheemian river, with four corner towers that serve as strategic vantage points. Its original outer walls remain standing, and a religious shrine occupies the interior space.

The fort was built during the Mughal period and later passed between different rulers, including the Dogras of Kashmir and the Sikhs after 1814. This succession of powers shaped how the structure changed and was used over time.

A marble tomb within the walls draws visitors who come to pay respects, especially on weekends. This religious focus shapes how people move through the space and marks it as a site of spiritual devotion.

The site is located about 25 kilometers west of Gujar Khan and is best explored on foot with sturdy shoes for climbing the hillside. Allow extra time to navigate the slopes and take in the views from the elevated position.

According to local accounts, a spring emerged at the base of the fort during Abdul Hakeem's burial and is viewed as a miraculous sign by locals. This natural water source remains visible today and reinforces the spiritual significance people attach to the location.
