Kramatorsk Raion

Kramatorsk Raion is an administrative district in eastern Ukraine's Donetsk Oblast. The territory combines industrial cities, smaller towns, and rural villages within a single administrative area.

The district was formed in 2020 when several smaller administrative areas merged into a single region. This reorganization combined territories that had separate governance structures before.

Different communities live side by side in industrial cities and farming villages across the district. The daily rhythm shifts between factory work in towns and agricultural life in the countryside.

The city of Kramatorsk serves as the district's administrative center. It works well as a starting point to explore the area, with connections to other towns and villages spreading outward.

Major industrial cities like Kostiantynivka and Druzhkivka form the backbone of the district. These centers carry visible reminders of their industrial past and continue to define the region's character.
