Kramatorsk Raion

Kramatorsk Raion extends across 5,186 square kilometers of eastern Ukraine, encompassing both urban centers and rural settlements within Donetsk Oblast.

The administrative reform of July 2020 established Kramatorsk Raion through the consolidation of several smaller districts, including Oleksandrivka, Lyman, and Sloviansk raions.

The district integrates twelve distinct hromadas, representing different community structures through urban, settlement, and rural administrative divisions across the territory.

The district capital of Kramatorsk serves as the administrative center, providing governmental services to a population of over 543,000 residents.

The territory contains multiple settlement types, from major industrial centers like Kostiantynivka and Druzhkivka to traditional rural communities spread across the region.
