Zolotonosha Raion, Administrative district in Cherkasy Oblast, Ukraine.
Zolotonosha Raion is an administrative district in Cherkasy Oblast in central Ukraine. It contains a mix of urban settlements, villages, and agricultural areas spread across its territory.
The district underwent significant reorganization in 2020 when neighboring administrative areas were merged together. The city of Zolotonosha became the central hub for this enlarged administrative area.
The territory maintains eleven distinct hromadas, each representing local communities with their own administrative structures and cultural identities within the broader district.
The area is connected by road to other parts of Ukraine and offers functioning infrastructure for visitors and residents. The various settlements are relatively easy to reach since road networks run throughout the district.
The region's population density of 33.5 inhabitants per square kilometer reflects its mixed urban-rural character, balancing city development with extensive agricultural areas.
