Davidof Volcano

Davidof Volcano is a stratovolcano in the Aleutian Islands that rises 328 meters above sea level as part of a larger volcanic complex. The site consists of five small islands arranged above a collapsed caldera system.

This volcano formed during the late Tertiary period when a major collapse event created the caldera structure visible today. This geological process shaped the current arrangement of islands in the complex.
