Description
Luocheng is an archaeological site in Guanghan that displays the remains of an important ancient settlement. The location contains residential buildings, defensive walls, and street patterns that document the urban life of that early period.
History
This site was founded around 3000 to 4000 years ago and was a center of early Shu civilization. The development of urban planning and architecture here shows important changes in ancient Chinese society.
Culture
The artifacts found here show how people in ancient Shu society lived and used their belongings. Pottery and bronze objects reveal much about their craftsmanship and religious practices.
